Fallen Heroes

There are many types of heros, some may be the best which make them heroric and some heros makes decisons that causes them to fall. These heros are called "fallen heros", in Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Anakin Skywalker makes some conscious decisions that makes him lead into the the evil character Darth Vader. Certain points in the movie helps make the viewers see and could predict where Anakin would fall in early in the movie, by being confused at times, making decisions that could change his future with the jedi.

When Anakin was enlightened with the fantastic news Padme told him, Anakin begins to fall in love with her more than ever! They start to plan what they want to do once the baby was born. But after hearing the news most of Anakins nights were filled with nightmares of his beautiful wife dieing during their childs birth. He worries because the pervious experience with nightmares and death usually happens in reality, he doesn't want the same outcome to happen again just like his mother. So Darth Sidious introduces and tries to influence him into joining the dark side to help Padme live during the delivery.

In Anakin's mind after he figures out his wife could be saved only if he joins the dark side, he thinks hard about it. Since the baby and his wife are his main priorities he makes fatal choices that determines which side hes going to join. For example when Mace Windu attempts to arrest Darth Sidiuos he specifically told Anakin to stay in the Council Chamber and if he told the truth about Darth Sidous being the leader of the siths he earns his respect. Yet after being told to stay he doesnt listen and continues to follow him. Once Mace has Darth Sidious pinned and ready to kill him Anakin makes the quick decisive move and cuts off Mace's hand off, which gives Darth Sidious enough time to counter and strike back and kill him. Anakin is shocked in what he just did and finally bows down and decides to join the dark side.

If Anakin never followed Mace, he would've gotten the respcct and possibly became a leader. But making a couple of costly decsions ruins his shot at being one. His over wanting of power caused him to fall because he let his feelings take control of his mind and it does him no good. Anakin had all the respect by Obi-Wan but since he decided to join the dark side he fought his master and also losses everything.

In conclusion, if Anakin was to follow the rules that were given to him just be faithful, him becoming the Darth Vader wouldnt have had to happen, Padme dieing, and losing the respect from all the Jedi's. All becuase he wanted more power and to rescue his wife. All this isn't worth it, he could've been there with his wife while she was giving birth, possibly being the leader and being recgonized as the chosen one.

American Dream

American Dream
Many people from different countries would love to live in America where it’s the land of the free and be able to experience the American Dream. When immigrants take their first steps into living a new life in the United States they begin to wonder what the American Dream is? Some may believe having nice cars and a huge mansion will fulfill their wonders, yet others just want to be free and live to enjoy life. The American Dream to me defines someone who has a job that they love to do, a family to care for and being able to maintain a suitable lifestyle.
Once I graduate from high school, I want to major in physical therapy. Since I’m an athletic person who loves helping and working with other people, physical therapy fits my attributes perfectly. I’ve done some researching in what I needed to become a physical therapist, and I need my bachelor’s degree and masters. It’s a difficult task for me to do but whatever it takes to have an enjoyable job that has a decent salary which in turn can help me in the long run to support my family, I am in for it all the way.
In the article, “Generation Screwed” it states, nearly a third of the people between eighteen and thirty-four have put off marriage or having a baby due to the recession.” This fact motivates me so much because if I don’t have the money to support my family or even start one it will ruin my entire American Dream. Having a family is one of my top three in succeeding in my American Dream, so I have to find a job that works for me and balances time with them. My parents influenced me and brought me up well so when I do have the opportunity to begin a family I will be prepared. My dad told me having to graduate high school and going to college in number one because I will be a step ahead of the person that skipped out on high school or college. I have to learn from what he told me and make it better to succeed.
When I have the job and the family that I love, I will be complete but it’s doesn’t technically mean I relax and take everything easy. I must throw that out the window and continue on working hard and making my family happy. Pushing ourselves to growing and

Guide for Students with Acceptance Letters

Many colleges around the world give the opportunity to high school students to learn and be educated at their program. But some students decide not to finish strong in their education and fall behind and grades drop due to the fact a student already obtained their acceptance letter. Decisions must be made accordingly to be successful heading to college. If students decide to slack off or relax in school instead of working hard and being determined to what they want, colleges should be able to revoke their acceptance letter. There are ways to put yourself in a position where you can succeed; staying on task in school and joining a sport can help not be revoked from a college.
First and foremost students that really work hard and is devoted to being something great starts from the basics. Staying on task and being focused is probably the number one rule in school. You have to always be on the top of your assignments in all of your classes. Once your in the process of being enrolled into a college, nothing is going to be handed down to you like it was back in middle school. You must work to maintain the grades you have to be officailly ready for the next step in life, which is getting that college acceptance letter.
Another way to stay on top of things is by joining a sport that you love and enjoy to do! For example I play football and all athletes must have a 2.0 GPA which makes my grade a first priority. Without the grades, no playing time. So joining a sport can help motivate a student maintain that grade the grade they want.
All in all to make colleges not revoke or deny your acceptance follow the steps i've given you and hopefully it changes your minds about things you do in school. By paying more attention in class, staying on top of all assignments, and try joining a club or sport you love that makes you maintain the high grade point average!

Senior Highlights

Hello my fellow classmates and Ms. Sutter! How are you guys doing today? Im doing great! So I can't believe its our senior year! Time just flies by so fast, from being a nervous freshman knowing nothing about highschool, to a more confident, hardworking senior. This year marks my 4th year playing football for our high school team. I LOVE to play the game of football! It never bores me, every single practice is a day for me to get better at my postion. Football practice maybe fun but it takes hardwork and dedication. Thats the main reason i play, playing football to me gets me ready for life in the future because it trains my work ethic and it is always a challenge. It teaches me never to quit and once I put my mind into something I want to reach I will do it. Next ball is something i'm really excited for! Last year at prom i had a blast! So ball is something that i am really lokking forward to! Last but not least is graduating highschool. Graduating is going to be a sad and happy day! I'm going to really miss my friends and teachers that affected me throughout my journey in South City and at the same time i'm going to be so happy because I made my parents proud.
